Top 128 Berlin IC 26-27-28/04

2019 Pokèmon European International Championship just took place in Berlin, from Friday 26th April to Sunday 28th April, with 420 players coming from all around the world. During the first day of play, the players went through 9 Swiss round, which determined the 38 best players (those with a 7-2 or better record) which qualified to play in the day 2. On Saturday, these 38 players had to play 5 more Swiss rounds, at the end of which the best 8 got the chance to play in the single elimination top cut. Sunday the champions of each category, Junior, Senior and Master, were crowned.

Masters final was an all-Italian derby, where Flavio Del Pidio, with XRay, triumphed over Davide Carrer, playing Xerndon, in a very close match that went to game 3.

Alfredo Chang-Gonzalez from Australia won in the Senior division, while the Junior division saw Teddy French from the United Kingdom winning the whole tournament.

We’ve gathered here the teams used by the Top128 players in the tournament.
